UMA Workspace is a place for work. It is an extension of the traditional office enhancing mobility, flexibility and networking. UMA is Technopolis’ answer to the changing landscape of how we work. The UMA network in several cities in Finland, Nordic countries and Baltic Sea region enables employees and companies to choose the best location for work. With one membership you have access to all locations in five countries.

Technopolis is expanding into the Danish market. The company is opening a new co-working space in downtown Copenhagen in September 2018. The UMA Workspace-branded facility will be built into a 2.000 square meter space with 33 small offices, 60 hot desks and 5 shared conference rooms. It will be located in the very center of the city next to Strøget and the City Hall. This first Danish space will be named UMA Vestergade

Responsibilities and duties

The primary task for the Community Manager is to take care of the day-to-day business in the dedicated UMA location and to ensure customer satisfaction. The role is very diverse and requires great organizational and problem-solving skills and independent approach to work. Community Manager works closely together with Director, UMA, local Sales Manager and different Group employees, e.g. Marketing, Events, etc.

The Community Manager has an active role in selling services and memberships to current and potential customers. She/he is responsible for coordinating local community events and social media and marketing activities.

Primary Objectives

  • Be the primary contact person for the local UMA members and other customers.
  • Has an active role in selling UMA memberships and services.
  • Coordinates local marketing and social media activities in co-operation with Group Marketing team
  • Be responsible for arranging local community events in co-operation with the Group Events team
  • Ensures excellent service quality and gathers customer feedback

We expect you to have:

  • 3-5 years of work experience e.g. in assistant or coordinator role in service business or equivalent
  • Experience in working with outsourced partners
  • Result-driven, target oriented, proactive and problem-solving attitude
  • Five Star Customer Service orientation
  • Team player and excellent people skills
  • Good IT skills, ability to adapt to new systems

What will it take to succeed?

You are A+ Service minded and poses the necessary drive to make UMA Vestergade the best workspace in town. Amongst others, your primary KPI’s are:

  • External customer satisfaction in own location
  • Personal sales target
  • Service net sales in own location
  • EBITDA at year-end in own location

The objective for the coming years are to establish service minded parameters for the client/user base for the new premises and to maintain ongoing relations.
