UMA Workspace is a place for work. It is an extension of the traditional office enhancing mobility, flexibility and networking. UMA is Technopolis’ answer to the changing landscape of how we work. The UMA network in several cities in Finland, Nordic countries and Baltic Sea region enables employees and companies to choose the best location for work. With one membership you have access to all locations in five countries.

Technopolis is expanding into the Danish market. The company is opening a new co-working space in downtown Copenhagen in September 2018. The UMA Workspace-branded facility will be built into a 2.000 square meter space with 33 small offices, 60 hot desks and 5 shared conference rooms. It will be located in the very center of the city next to Strøget and the City Hall. This first Danish space will be named UMA Vestergade

Responsibilities and duties

The new Sales Manager for UMA Copenhagen creates value for current and new Technopolis customers by offering them modern workplace solutions. The main task of the position is to fill the UMA location/s in Copenhagen with members and private office tenants. This is done through active search for new customers, executing marketing and sales activities and closing deals. The Sales Manager works closely together with the Director of Services, the local Community Manager and other Technopolis Sales team members.

Amongst other things, the Sales Manager:

  • Is responsible for selling UMA memberships and private offices based on annually defined objectives and targets
  • Develop relationship with local brokers and establish a good base of strategic partners
  • Ensure presence on digital platforms regarding office and workspace solutions
  • Acquires new customers.
  • Executes and monitors account management locally
  • Ensures excellent service quality and gathers customer feedback

We expect you to have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in selling business services and excellent understanding of business-to-business selling methods
  • Knowledge of office space/real estate sales and local real estate markets is seen as an advantage
  • Hunger for achieving sales targets
  • Good local network
  • Result-driven and problem-solving attitude
  • Five Star Customer Service orientation
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Analytical and structured working methods, ability to handle several tasks/cases in parallel
  • Team player and excellent people skills


  • Personal sales targets on memberships and private office sales
  • Building the local sales channel
  • External customer satisfaction
  • Service net sales
  • EBITDA at year-end
  • The objective for the coming years are to build a client/user base for the new premises and to maintain ongoing relations. Continuously create new business and launch ideas for new business development initiatives in Denmark.
